The Hud patch is also recomended for tactical awareness.

5) During games on open servers, All Unit Members must Display the Red Griffin Decal on their Mech's legs and try to play on the same team, unless it causes the teams to be greatly unbalanced. Garrison Members must also Display the Garrison Decal on their Mech's "nose" or upper torso.

If a member in a Regular Lance does not make the minimum meetings and practices for Regular Status, they shall be removed from the Lance roster and placed in Garrison.
If a member in Garrison does not make the minimum meetings and practices for Garrison, they will be placed in the Garrison Reserve (inactive) and removed from any league roster that RGMU is currently enrolled in.
If a member does not contact any of the Commanders within six (6) weeks, they shall be listed as MIA .

If any member listed as MIA doesn't contact the Unit Commander within six (6) weeks of the listing they are considered KIA and their records removed. They will no longer be part of the Red Griffins Mech Unit.

More information on our rules can be found in the RGMU Pilot's Manual.

Violation of the above rules, or the rules in our pilot's manual, shall be subject to a review of membership and/or disciplinary action. Disciplinary actions include Demerit, Rank reduction, Removal from your lance, or Expulsion from the Unit. 3 Demerits = 1 Rank reduction 3 Rank reductions = Removal from your lance

Demerit points can be overturned in a review by the Unit Commander.

We are all in this Unit to have fun and form friendships. Winning is nice but playing fair and good sportsmanship is even more important.

Our Game settings- We always play the game as a sim. This means Heat is on, Limited Amo is on, Friendly Fire is on, Splash Damage is on, and Forced First Person Perspective is preffered. We also preffer Team Games. Sometimes we will also run with a team weight limit. In respawn games spawn "Rape" is not allowed. Other than that, all tactics are considered valid.
In Game all members will put thier unit sig before their nic (eg: RGMU_Arrow  : RGMU_= Unit sig,  Arrow=Nic) and The Unit name with lance/division  for faction(eg: Red Griffins Commander)

If and when we run a server there are 3 server names we use depending upon what the server's function is.
Red Griffin Mech Unit # or RGMU# -- General games -- Sometimes open to all -- Team Games.
Red Griffin Recruiting -- Recruiting games -- Always open to all -- Any Type of Game.
Red Griffin Testing or RGMU tests -- Recruits Tests and Map Testing -- Always a closed game -- Team Games.
