Plz Help - Mech'Pak Problems

StormThunder Joined: Jan 04, 2010 Posts: 1	Posted: Wed Jan 06, 2010 4:22 pm    Post subject: Plz Help - Mech'Pak Problems   Hi Guys today i installed MW4 Mercs and its pr1 patch ... after playing a while and doing the campain i tryed to have fun in LAN game with a friend ... by hosting a game i was be able to edit the restrictions ... in the restrictions menu i found under mechs all the 8 mechs from the Mech'Paks, arctic wolf,zeus etc. ... But neither at multiplayer nor at singelplayer or manemenu mechlab i can take them to build up ... my question now is, i thought that MW4Mercs contains all mechs which be there befor in MW4 Vengeance/Black Knight/Mech'Paks's ... but it seems like it issnt like i thought ... i wounderd because in the install dir of ONLY the MW4Mercs are underfolder with CLANPAK and ISPAK ... is it normal that i cannt use the 8 mechs ??? ... after this i installed the mech'paks ... at both it installed it at "xyz : \ MechWarrior4Mercs \ MW4 \" after this i cannt start the game it get back to desktop after the first short loading picture ( fafnir mech ) ... my friend have had installed all inclusive but he cannt use the 8 mechs from the mech'paks in the mw4mercs ... can someone help me please ?? what to do to get the 8 mechs in mercs working ??? i have original mw4mercs and the two mech'paks ... what to do ?? or is it a bug or is there a fix ?? and how to use them ?? thanks StormThunder

Did you check the box to create a backup? It could be a video prob. You could try to reset the video by going to C:\??????\Microsoft Games\Mechwarrior Mercenaries and double click on the file autoconfig_MERCS and see if the game will load up after running this.
